Overview

We are seeking a passionate and energetic Lead Toddler Teacher to inspire and nurture the youngest learners in our early childhood education program. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculam that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori principles to support holistic child development.
  • Lead classroom activities that promote social-emotional skills, behavior management, and positive interactions among toddlers.
  • Oversee daily classroom operations, ensuring adherence to safety standards, mandated reporting laws, and early intervention protocols.
  • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to share progress updates, discuss developmental milestones, and address concerns with clarity and compassion.
  • Supervise teaching staff by providing mentorship, conducting performance evaluations, and supporting ongoing professional development in early childhood education best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with childcare regulations, health guidelines including first aid and CPR certifications, and standardized testing requirements when applicable.
  • Foster an inclusive environment that respects diverse backgrounds and needs of young children while promoting childhood welfare and classroom management excellence.

Skills

  • Extensive experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings, with a strong background in toddler care.
  • Proficiency in curriculum development tailored for early childhood education with an emphasis on literacy education, math skills, and Montessori methods.
  • Knowledge of special education strategies and early intervention techniques to support children with diverse learning needs.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective parent engagement and team collaboration.
  • Strong classroom management abilities combined with behavior management expertise to create a positive learning environment.
  • Familiarity with child development principles, mandated reporting laws, first aid/CPR certification, and health/safety standards.
  • Ability to plan engaging lessons that incorporate physical education activities and promote overall childhood development.
