Busy Minds Academy is seeking a caring, dependable, and enthusiastic Lead Toddler Teacher to join our early childhood education team. If you have a passion for working with young children and enjoy creating fun, engaging learning experiences, we'd love to hear from you!
In this role, you will lead a classroom of children ages 1½ to 2½ or 2½ to 3½ years, creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where every child can learn, grow, and thrive. You will play an important role in supporting children's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development while building strong relationships with families and your fellow teachers.

Position Details
- Position: Lead Toddler Teacher
- Schedule: Monday–Friday
- Pay: Starting at $17.00 per hour

Responsibilities
- Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans that encourage learning through play.
- Foster children's cognitive, language, social, emotional, and physical development.
- Create a warm, welcoming, and organized classroom where children feel safe, valued, and encouraged to explore.
- Lead daily activities including circle time, art, sensory play, music, outdoor play, and early literacy experiences.
- Build positive relationships with children and families through open communication and daily updates.
- Observe, document, and monitor each child's developmental progress.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom while following all health, safety, and licensing regulations.
- Guide children's behavior using positive, developmentally appropriate techniques.
- Work collaboratively with assistant teachers and center leadership to provide the highest quality care and education.
Qualifications
- Previous experience working with toddlers or preschool-aged children in a licensed childcare center or preschool preferred.
- Knowledge of child development and developmentally appropriate practices.
- Strong classroom management and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Ability to meet all state licensing and background check requirements.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and actively engage with children throughout the day.
