Role Overview

The Banking Operations Specialist is a hands-on operations position responsible for supporting the day-to-day operational functions of Bank19 and helping ensure that banking transactions, systems, processes, and customer activities are completed accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with established policies and regulatory requirements.

This position supports a broad range of community banking functions, including deposit operations, electronic payments, loan servicing, core system maintenance, account administration, reconciliations, and operational reporting. The ideal candidate will bring practical banking experience, strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to identify and resolve operational issues.

Bank19 is continuing to enhance its systems, products, processes, and operational infrastructure. As a result, this role is well suited for an individual who is comfortable with change, willing to learn new systems, and interested in helping improve how work is performed. The successful candidate will have opportunities to assist with process development, system implementation, procedure documentation, new product rollout, and other operational projects as the Bank continues to evolve.

While the primary focus of this position is bank operations, the Banking Operations Specialist should also have a working knowledge of community bank branch operations and be willing to assist with customer-facing and branch activities when needed.

  • Assist with internal audits, regulatory examinations, operational reviews, and remediation activities when requested.
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors and service providers to resolve operational issues and support system implementation or maintenance activities.
