Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, mentor, hire, and develop the onsite team, providing clear direction, coaching, and performance feedback.
- Foster a professional, accountable, and service-driven team culture.
- Ensure consistent execution of company policies, procedures, and standards.
- Oversee day-to-day property operations, ensuring a high-quality living experience for residents.
- Manage resident communication during service interruptions or building-related challenges with confidence, discretion, and transparency.
- Address escalated resident concerns and resolve issues in a calm, solutions-oriented manner.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal partners to address infrastructure and maintenance challenges.
- Prepare and manage annual budgets; monitor expenses and revenue to meet financial goals.
- Review and submit monthly financial reports and variance explanations.
- Oversee rent collections, lease administration, payroll processing, and accounts payable.
- Execute marketing, leasing, and operational strategies to achieve occupancy and revenue targets.
- Ensure maintenance programs are executed in accordance with company standards and safety requirements.
- Partner with the maintenance team to prioritize work orders, preventive maintenance, and capital projects.
- Maintain compliance with all local, state, and federal laws, fair housing regulations, and company policies.
- Minimum of 2 years of property management experience (luxury, high-rise, mid-rise, or lease-up experience strongly preferred).
- Proven supervisory experience, including team leadership, budgeting, and performance management.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to operate independently and make sound decisions.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills; ability to manage sensitive situations professionally.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Yardi experience preferred.
- High ethical standards and a strong commitment to customer service excellence.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
- High School Diploma required; BA/BS degree preferred.
- Real Estate License preferred.
