At MSB Consulting Engineers, you will work on meaningful, high-impact industrial projects — without layers of bureaucracy — while growing your technical expertise and influence.
We are expanding our Electrical team and seeking mid-level or senior engineers with experience in medium- and low-voltage systems, protective relaying, and industrial project execution.
What You’ll Work On
You’ll play a key role in capital projects across petrochemical, refining, midstream, and marine industries, including:
- Medium- and low-voltage distribution system design
- Electrical system studies: load flow, fault current, motor starting, arc flash, protective device coordination.
- Developing protective relay designs and settings (SEL, GE/Multilin) with the design team
- Preparing and reviewing one-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, and full installation packages
- Writing scopes of work, equipment specifications, and technical documentation
- Providing hands-on technical oversight, quality reviews, and promoting electrical safety
Senior-level engineers may also:
- Lead technical efforts on complex projects.
- Review of detailed design packages
- Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance.
- Interface directly with clients and vendors
What We’re Looking For
- 5 years of experience in electrical engineering (open to more senior candidates)
- Strong background in power distribution, medium- and low-voltage systems, and protective relaying
- Experience with ETAP, SKM, or EasyPower preferred
- Prior experience in industrial environments (petrochemical/refining/midstream/marine) is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and collaborative communication skills
