POSITION: Varsity Football Assistant Coach (We have 3 openings for this position)
GRADES: 9-12
LOCATION: Mt. Ararat High School
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Develop and implement an organized and comprehensive football program.
- Work collaboratively with other program coaches, parents, boosters and youth organizations.
- Provide positive leadership while teaching and modeling good sportsmanship.
- Provide adequate supervision and management of team members during practices and games.
- Use current best practices to teach and develop football skills while maintaining student-athlete safety.
REQUIREMENTS:
- High School diploma or GED/HiSET.
- Prior coaching experience preferred.
- Current CPR/AED certification, or ability to attain.
- Current Sports First Aid Certification, or ability to attain.
- Valid Maine Deptment of Education Criminal Record Check (CHRC) Authorization.
