Serving Maine’s Midcoast communities of Bowdoin, Bowdoinham, Harpswell, and Topsham, MSAD 75 is home to over 2,350 students and more than 600 faculty and staff members.
MSAD 75 is seeking a 1st Team Girls' Soccer Head Coach (Gr. 9-12) at Mt. Ararat High School to join our vibrant Athletic community. Together, we can inspire the next generation of learners and leaders.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Develop and implement an organized and comprehensive girls' soccer program.
- Work collaboratively with other program coaches, parents, boosters and youth organizations.
- Provide positive leadership while teaching and modeling good sportsmanship.
- Provide adequate supervision and management of team members during practices and games.
- Use current best practices to teach and develop soccer skills while maintaining student-athlete safety.
- Report game results to Athletic Director and local media outlets.
REQUIREMENTS:
- High School diploma or GED/HiSET.
- Prior Varsity head coaching experience preferred.
- Current CPR/AED certification, or ability to attain.
- Current Sports First Aid Certification, or ability to attain.
- Valid State of Maine Department of Education background check (CHRC) authorization.
