Position Summary
We are seeking an operationally strong Clinical Manager to improve clinical efficiency, strengthen quality and compliance performance, and grow ancillary services (lab and x-ray) while delivering high-quality, compassionate care. Our team values collaboration, efficiency, and continuous improvement. This role is performance-focused and includes at-risk incentive plan tied to measurable results.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead day-to-day clinic operations, staffing, schedules, and patient flow to improve throughput and cycle times.
· Drive productivity and capacity planning (e.g. visits per provider per day)
· Develop and implement clinical protocols and policies to increase efficiency
· Manage labor to budget, including overtime control, cross-training, and staffing aligned to volume.
· Increase ancillary performance by improving lab and x-ray utilization, workflows, and profitability.
· Partner with billing and clinical teams to strengthen charge capture, documentation accuracy, and revenue cycle handoffs.
· Maintain quality and compliance readiness (e.g. MIPS, preventive care initiatives, audits, HIPPA, OSHA, CMS and policy adherence).
· Own patient experience performance, including service recovery and continuous improvement initiatives.
· Track key performance indicators (KPIs), provide routine reporting, and corrective action plans.
· Supervise and support clinical staff, including hiring, training, and performance management
· Manage clinical supplies, inventory, and equipment
Qualifications
· 3 years of healthcare operations experience (primary care or multi-specialty preferred).
· Active clinical license is preferred (RN, LPN, or Certified Medical Assistant).
· Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent experience).
· Previous leadership or supervisory experience managing teams, schedules, and performance in a clinical setting.
· Strong knowledge of EHR systems (experience with NextGen a plus).
· Working knowledge of quality programs (e.g., MIPS, preventive care metrics, audit readiness)
· Demonstrate success improving throughput, staffing efficiency, and/or financial performance.
