MARKETING MANAGER
The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a range of marketing initiatives, including proposals, presentations, digital marketing content, and social media campaigns. This role also involves maintaining and updating the firm’s website to ensure it reflects our evolving portfolio.
Working both independently and collaboratively, the Marketing Manager will engage directly with the firm’s owners to support and elevate our marketing efforts. This is an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to a creative and fast-paced architectural environment.
General Qualifications
• BS/BA degree required in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
• A minimum of 6-10 years of professional marketing experience in proposal development, writing, and/or marketing.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in marketing A/E/C services (architecture, commercial interior design, engineering, construction, etc.).
• Excellent written (including formatting) and verbal communication skills. Excellent problem-solving, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
• A high-energy and innovative individual with the ability to lead and persuade. Must work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Works collaboratively with others, both within and outside the firm. Strong decision-making capabilities with little assistance.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
• Salaried professionals with compensation commensurate with experience and qualifications.
• Proficiency with Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Microsoft Suites, and other design programs, plus Google Analytics / Google AdWords. Strong graphic design skills developed through formal education and/or work experience.
Marketing Responsibilities
• Marketing Manager works with the owners and design staff to produce qualifications, proposals, presentations, interview materials, and other marketing collaterals.
• Create and maintain standard marketing collateral, including staff resumes and project sheets.
• Manage and curate content for the firm’s social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook) to enhance online presence and showcase the portfolio.
• Responsible for summarizing project storytelling and descriptions, and firm information, and supplementing website content. Squarespace experience preferred.
• Support business development outreach across the firm, including identifying opportunities for networking and participation in local, state, and national organizations, events, and conferences.
• Organize project photoshoots, including scheduling with clients and the photographer and staging coordination.
• Design and coordinate marketing materials, company swag, and event collateral for employee engagement activities and client-facing events.
• Assist with sales-related tasks such as maintaining client contact lists and managing CRM database.
• Track financial performance and response rate of marketing efforts.
• Ability to plan, organize, and execute employee parties/outings.
• Work closely with ownership to strategize, develop, and implement new systems for generating new business.
Compensation is based on relevant experience and qualifications. The salary for this role is estimated between $90,000 to $115,000, plus benefits and performance-based bonuses.
