Location: Cullman, AL (Relocation Not Available)
Salary Range: $25 - 38/hr.

Shift: Fri–Sun, 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM
Job Summary
The Multi-Craft Technician is responsible for keeping stamping presses, robotics, and plant systems running safely and efficiently. This role involves troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Candidates should have experience in high-volume manufacturing environments, with press machine experience preferred. Ideal applicants are hands-on, safety-minded, and able to work across multiple trades.
Required Skills & Qualifications
● Press machine experience and basic knowledge of press machine functionality
● Electrical troubleshooting using a multimeter, including locating broken wires, sensor issues, and relay circuits
● PLC experience; using PLCs as a troubleshooting tool (programming a plus, not required)
● Understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
● Metal fabrication and welding experience (MIG/TIG/Stick)
● Basic machining tool operation, with understanding of lathe and manual mill operations a plus
● Hands-on, self-starter attitude with focus on safety and teamwork
● Ability to operate overhead cranes, forklifts, and rigging equipment
● Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
● Troubleshoot and repair press machines, robots, cranes, and plant utilities
● Perform electrical diagnostics using multimeters to identify broken wires, faulty sensors, and relay issues
● Utilize PLCs as troubleshooting tools; programming knowledge is a plus
● Maintain hydraulic, pneumatic, and power transmission systems
● Perform metal fabrication, welding, and basic machining tasks
● Operate lathe, manual mill, drill press, shear, and band saw
● Support preventive maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives
● Safely operate overhead cranes, forklifts, and rigging equipment
● Maintain clean and organized work areas
Physical and Environment Requirements
- Physical expectations may include standing, walking, and bending for extended periods; lifting up to 50 lbs; performing electrical/mechanical repairs and welding; operating heavy machinery; and working in a noisy manufacturing environment with moving machinery and variable temperatures.
