Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Heating/Air Conditioning Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in HVAC/R systems, with the ability to diagnose, repair, and maintain heating/air conditioning units and related equipment. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, mechanical knowledge, and excellent problem-solving skills to ensure optimal performance of HVAC systems.
Responsibilities
- Service and maintain heating/air conditioning systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with HVAC equipment using schematics and mechanical knowledge.
- Perform routine maintenance on air conditioning units, including cleaning coils and checking refrigerant levels.
- Conduct field service visits to assess system performance and implement necessary repairs.
- Utilize standard HVAC tools perform work
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their HVAC needs.
- Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs performed, and parts used.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in HVAC technology.
Experience
- Proven experience as a service technician in the HVAC industry is preferred.
- Familiarity with refrigeration systems, plumbing, and boiler maintenance is advantageous.
- Experience in appliance repair and property maintenance will be considered a plus.
- A valid driver's license is required for travel to job sites.
- Previous mechanic experience will be beneficial for troubleshooting complex systems.
