About the Role
We are hiring experienced Business Consultants to drive new business across key US territories. This is a full-cycle, client-facing sales role focused on winning new business through consultative selling of HR and payroll solutions.
About You
You’re a driven, results-focused sales professional who knows how to win business. You’ve got experience selling into SMB and mid-market organisations, and you’re comfortable owning the full sales cycle — from prospecting through to close. You’re confident engaging senior stakeholders, building relationships, and navigating complex conversations, with a track record of hitting or exceeding targets
Responsibilities:
- Generate new business opportunities through proactive outreach and prospecting
- Own and manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through to close
- Engage and build relationships with key decision-makers across SMB and mid-market businesses
- Conduct discovery calls to understand client needs, challenges, and objectives
- Present tailored solutions aligned to each client’s business goals
- Build and maintain a strong, consistent pipeline of qualified opportunities
- Consistently meet or exceed individual revenue and activity targets
- Maintain accurate records of activity and pipeline within CRM systems
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and client success
- Stay up to date with market trends, competitors, and industry developments
- Attend client meetings, networking events, and industry functions where required
- Develop long-term client relationships to drive repeat and referral business
- Effectively manage your assigned territory and prioritise high-value opportunities
- Handle objections confidently and negotiate to close deals successfully
Requirements:
- Proven track record of success in B2B sales, consistently hitting or exceeding targets
- Experience in SaaS, HCM, payroll, or PEO environments is highly desirable
- Strong consultative sales approach, with the ability to understand needs and position solutions effectively
- Confident influencing and engaging stakeholders at multiple levels within an organisation
- Target-driven mindset with a clear focus on performance and results
- Experience managing a defined territory and prioritising high-value opportunities
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-performance sales environment
- Stable career history demonstrating commitment and consistent progression
