CDS Program Specialist – CFSS
Mankato or Burnsville, MN | Full-Time | Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

️ What You’ll Do:
- Serve as the first point of contact for clients, handling intake, payroll, and problem-solving.
- Promote and explain CDS programs to clients, families, and county personnel.
- Ensure timely and accurate service delivery while maintaining a customer-focused culture.
- Stay current on legislative and regulatory changes affecting CDS programs.
- Input budgets, process payroll and reimbursements, and track spending.
- Assist with onboarding new employees and processing employment documentation.
- Collaborate with counties, DHS, and other providers to develop best practices.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
✅ What You Bring:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree 3 years of related human services experience, OR
- High school diploma 6 years of related human services experience
Skills & Requirements:
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Excellent customer service and independent decision-making abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to travel throughout Minnesota
- Must pass a MN Department of Human Services background check
