Rebar Bending Operator

JOB SUMMARY 

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
 

1. Primary Responsibility

• Bend pre-cut material to customer and job specifications ensuring all dimensional requirements have been met

1. Essential Job Duties

• Ensure all safe practices are followed and look for continuous improvement
• Entering shape and dimensions of parts needed into the computer head
• Ensure all scanning has been completed for material processed
• Responsible for all material to be bundled and stacked properly according to order specifications
• Manufacture bends using stirrup machine
• Ensure all physical measurements are met before engaging in full production
• Other duties, but not limited to; forklift operation, overhead crane operation, and any assignments as per Rebar Fabrication Supervisor direction

1. Qualifications and Experience

• Attention to detail
• Excellent writing skills
• Experience in manufacturing is a plus
• Physical and Mental Demands
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to bend, walk, twist, lift and turn
• Constant dominant hand activity
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Ability to use hands and arms in handling, positioning and moving material
• Ability verbally Communicate

• Exposed to outside elements, building with an open door
