What You'll Do:
As a Fabrication Technician, you'll work alongside experienced fabricators and glaziers to prepare glass and metal products before they head out to the field.
Your day may include:
- Reading fabrication drawings and measurements
- Cutting, assembling, and preparing frames
- Handling and transporting glass safely
- Repairing or replacing damaged materials
- Operating shop equipment and hand tools
- Keeping the shop clean, organized, and safe
- Supporting deliveries and material handling when needed
What We're Looking For:
- 18 years or older
- Have a high school diploma or GED
- Able to pass required pre-employment screenings
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Have a valid Wisconsin driver's license and reliable transportation
You're a Great Fit if You:
- Like working with your hands and learning new skills
- Have fabrication, construction, manufacturing, or shop experience (preferred)
- Can read a tape measure and follow detailed instructions
- Pay attention to the little things that make a big difference
- Enjoy working as part of a team
What to Expect:
Let's be honest: this isn't a desk job. If your idea of exercise is getting paid to be active while working, then you'll fit right in.
You'll be:
- Standing, bending, reaching, and moving throughout the day
- Frequently lifting and carrying materials (up to 75 lbs. or more)
- Working around tools, machinery, dust, and shop noise
- Wearing proper PPE and always following safety procedures
