Description:
Are you passionate about the film and TV industry? Then jump-start your career in film and TV with Fresh Films’ PAID Accelerated Film Training program. You’ll learn hands-on with industry giants like Sony, Roku, and Fremantle while producing content and building your skills for rapidly growing jobs. The program uses hands-on production training, guest speakers, and workforce skills sessions to get you job and industry ready.
This is a competitive PAID training program with limited spots.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Must be an Illinois resident ages 18-29
- You must have graduated High School (can be in college or the workforce)
- You do not need previous filmmaking experience
- You must have a passion for film and be able to commit to the full training program from February to June (see timeline below).
- Must apply before December 8th (freshfilms.org/IL)
Internship runs as follows:
- Runs Tuesday & Thursday from Jan 13th to May 21 7–9pm
- Additional dates TBD for studio tours, meet & greets and industry training sessions. Please note that some of these sessions may take place in early June.
As part of the training program, you will:
- Produce 3 projects to add to your portfolio
- Have an opportunity to work on-set of a TV or Film production to gain your IMDb credit
- Make industry connections via studio tours and speaker sessions
- Sharpen your resume and interview skills to access internships & jobs
- Be paid an $700 stipend for completion of program (plus additional if work on-set)
