Primary Responsibilities
- Put away newly received material into assigned stockroom locations
- Prioritize, pull, and issue material for shop orders to support production
- Verify and return material from production to assigned stockroom locations at the completion of shop orders
- Perform daily cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records
- Maintain inventory accuracy through inventory transactions and reconciliation activities
- Organize and maintain stockroom locations for efficient material flow
- Ensure all material is handled and stored according to FIFO guidelines
- Maintain special handling and storage requirements for static-sensitive SMT components
- Identify, report, and help reconcile inventory discrepancies, damaged material, or missing inventory
- Support shipping and receiving activities as needed, including packaging shipments, preparing packing slips, and assisting with freight shipments
- Process inventory transactions accurately within the ShopworX ERP system
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized stockroom environment
- Work with production, purchasing, and receiving teams to support material priorities and customer needs
- Perform other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in stockroom, shipping, receiving, warehouse, or inventory control is helpful but not required
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office programs
- Experience with ERP systems is helpful but not required
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to stand, bend, twist, stretch, and lift throughout the shift
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs independently and up to 70 lbs with assistance
- May occasionally be required to work overtime
