Position Summary:
We are seeking a Quality Control Supervisor to lead the activities of our Quality Control (QC) team. This position plays a key role in ensuring product quality, supporting internal departments, and maintaining our commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction.
The Quality Control Supervisor will:
- Lead and develop the QC team, providing training, guidance, and performance oversight
- Evaluate and test product quality to ensure all items meet company standards and customer specifications
- Collaborate with Purchasing, Sales, and Customer Service to provide technical support and training
- Interface with external vendors in a professional and collaborative manner
- Recommend updates to testing methods, product specifications, and quality processes as needed
- Stay current on industry standards and assist with periodic vendor evaluations and audits
- Investigate and resolve customer quality complaints
- Coordinate the provision of certifications, specifications, MSDS forms, and other regulatory documentation
- Associate’s degree in Quality, Business, Supply Chain, or a related technical field
- Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience, including supervisory responsibilities
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Technical proficiency in product evaluation and testing methods
