ABOUT THE ROLE
We're looking for a seasoned Heavy Equipment Operator with strong dozer experience to join our Lynchburg crew. This is a role for an operator who can read a site, hit grade with precision, and move dirt efficiently and safely. You'll run a dozer as your primary machine, with the versatility to jump on other equipment as the job demands — and safely transport equipment between job sites.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Operate a dozer as your primary machine on excavation and grading job sites
- Cut, fill, and finish grade to plan specifications
- Read and work to grade stakes, blue tops, and elevation specs
- Operate additional heavy equipment (excavators, loaders, graders) as needed
- Safely load, haul, and transport equipment between job sites in compliance with DOT regulations
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Work safely and efficiently alongside the crew and site supervisor
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 5 years of heavy equipment operation experience
- Proven proficiency operating a dozer — this is a core requirement
- Ability to read grade stakes, blue tops, and elevation specifications
- Experience on excavation, site work, or grading projects
- Experience safely transporting heavy equipment (loading, securing, and hauling)
- Strong mechanical awareness — able to identify and report equipment issues
- Valid CDL required
- Dependable, punctual, safety-focused, and able to work outdoors in all conditions

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
