Job Description:
We are seeking a dependable, hardworking Radon Mitigation Technician to join our growing team. This position involves installing radon mitigation systems in residential and commercial properties, diagnosing radon issues, and helping protect customers’ homes and health.
The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, professional, comfortable working with tools, ladders, crawlspaces, attics, roofs, and basements, and takes pride in clean, high-quality work.
Responsibilities:
- Install radon mitigation systems in homes and buildings
- Cut and fit PVC piping
- Seal sump lids, penetrations, and system openings
- Install radon fans and venting systems
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
- Work in basements, crawlspaces, attics, garages, and on roofs when needed
- Follow company procedures and safety standards
- Communicate professionally with customers and team members
- Keep work vehicles, tools, and job sites clean and organized
- Complete job notes, photos, and paperwork accurately
Requirements:
- Mechanical ability and comfort using tools
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to work on ladders, in tight spaces, and in varying job site conditions
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Professional appearance and attitude
- Construction, HVAC, roofing, plumbing, carpentry, waterproofing, or mitigation experience is a plus
- Radon mitigation experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with PVC venting systems
- Experience working in residential service
- Basic knowledge of construction or ventilation systems
- Customer service experience
- Familiarity with radon testing or mitigation is a bonus
