Job Title: Water Mitigation Technician
Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Entry-Level Water Mitigation Technician to join our restoration team. In this role, you will assist in responding to water damage emergencies, helping to mitigate damage, restore properties, and ensure a safe and clean environment for customers. No prior experience is required—training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
Respond to water damage emergencies (flooding, leaks, sewage backups, etc.)
Assist in water extraction, drying, and dehumidification processes
Set up and monitor equipment such as air movers and dehumidifiers
Remove damaged materials (carpet, drywall, insulation, etc.)
Clean and sanitize affected areas
Document job progress using photos and notes
Follow company procedures and safety guidelines
Maintain equipment and keep work vehicles clean and organized
Communicate professionally with customers and team members
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Pass a background check
Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical labor
Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
Strong work ethic and positive attitude
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred (Not Required):
Experience in construction, restoration, or labor-related work
Certifications such as Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC) Water Damage Restoration Technician (WRT)
Work Environment:
Indoor and outdoor work in various conditions
Exposure to water-damaged environments, including mold or debris
Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required
