Overview:
Mr. Greens has proudly grown into one of the largest privately-owned produce distributors in Florida. With deliveries 365-days a year, 7-days a week and multiple runs per day, Mr. Greens has set the gold standard for service. Mr. Greens serves a large variety of clients, including restaurants, hotels, country clubs, caterers, grocery stores and retail outlets.
The Human Resources Generalist provides administrative support to the HR function as needed, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, performance management, recordkeeping, file maintenance, and HRIS data entry.
Qualifications:
Key Responsibilities:

Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.

Completes Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 files.
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process (job postings, interviews, onboarding)

Enter and maintain employee records in Paycom System.

Maintain and record the accumulation and use of paid time off, holidays, and miscellaneous leaves of absences.

Audit personnel files to assure all forms are received and completed.

Promote proactive approach to using the Company’s HRIS system to solve business needs, while enhancing the understanding and utilization of the systems capabilities.

Help support new human resources policies and practices.

Acts as liaison between employee and management to answer questions or concerns regarding company policies, practices, and regulations.

Works with employees and supervisors to research and resolve employee relations issues.

Provides guidance and support to supervisors in all tasks related to performance management.

Provides administrative support in the areas of Benefits and Payroll.

Responds to claims for unemployment insurance, including preparation of supporting documentation and managing the appeals process.
Professional requirements

Must possess at least 2 years of experience in field in Human Resources

Previous experience working with Paycom System highly desired.

Proficiency in MS Office, Word and Excel

Knowledge of federal and state employment laws.
