Job Overview
This is a hands-on baking position. Previous baking experience is REQUIRED, especially experience with hand mixing, folding techniques, batter preparation, and commercial ovens.
Responsibilities
As an Uncle Fluffy Baker, you will be responsible for preparing and baking our Japanese-style cheesecakes according to our recipes and quality standards. Responsibilities include:
- Preparing batters from scratch while following exact recipes, measurements, temperatures, and procedures
- Using proper hand-mixing and folding techniques with a spatula to gently combine ingredients without over-mixing or deflating the batter
- Operating and monitoring a commercial oven safely and confidently
- Understanding how oven temperature, baking time, moisture, and batter consistency affect the final product
- Completing daily baking and production quantities efficiently and on schedule
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary baking station throughout the shift
- Properly cleaning and sanitizing baking equipment, utensils, mixers, work surfaces, and production areas
- Following food safety, labeling, storage, and rotation procedures
Required Experience & Skills
Applicants must have previous hands-on baking experience.
Pay: $24.15 - $29.08 per hour
