The Corporate Human Resources Manager will drive standardization and consistency of HR processes, policies, and procedures across the organization. This role serves as a key partner to both Corporate and Operations HR teams, developing a comprehensive HR Manager playbook to enhance efficiency, compliance, and alignment across the company. Additionally, this role will manage and coordinate responses to employment-related inquiries and issues involving governmental agencies (e.g., EEOC, NLRB, OCRC), serving as the internal expert and primary point of contact.

Additionally, this role will manage and coordinate responses to employment-related inquiries and issues involving governmental agencies (e.g., EEOC, NLRB, OCRC), serving as the internal expert and primary point of contact.
Essential Functions
- Evaluate existing HR processes and procedures, identify areas for standardization, and implement improvements to enhance consistency, efficiency, and compliance across the organization.
- Develop, document, and maintain a comprehensive HR Manager playbook, including standardized policies, procedures, guidelines, and templates for recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, training, and compliance.
- Collaborate closely with Corporate HR team members and field-based HR Managers to ensure best practices are consistently applied and supported.
- Conduct regular internal audits and assessments of HR practices to identify compliance risks and areas for improvement. Proactively implement corrective actions and training to mitigate identified risks.
- Act as a key point of contact and subject matter expert for operational HR Managers, providing guidance, advice, and support on complex HR issues.
- Lead the company’s response to employment-related matters involving governmental agencies (e.g., EEOC, NLRB, OCRC), including investigating and evaluating each case to determine the company’s position and the most appropriate resolution path. Apply insights gained from these cases to develop and recommend systemic or process-level improvements that are proportionate to the assessed risk and aligned with organizational goals.
- Partner with the HRIS team to leverage technology and systems for effective HR management, process automation, and data-driven decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to employment and HR practices. Stay informed on evolving employment laws and proactively update practices accordingly.
- Assist in developing and delivering HR training programs for managers and HR professionals to enhance understanding of HR processes and compliance requirements.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5-8 years progressive HR experience, with significant experience in managing interactions and responses with employment-related governmental agencies (e.g., EEOC, NLRB, OCRC).
- Strong knowledge of employment law, compliance, HR best practices, and experience handling governmental agency interactions and investigations.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience in developing standardized policies and procedural manuals.
- Previous experience in industrial or manufacturing environments is preferred.
- Ability to travel occasionally to company locations as needed.
