JOB FUNCTION:
This position is responsible for assisting the Environmental Project Supervisor in all efforts at the customer location. Material Handler will assist manager in driving continuous improvement within the on-site process.

This position is responsible for assisting the Environmental Project Supervisor in all efforts at the customer location. Material Handler will assist manager in driving continuous improvement within the on-site process.
Essential Functions
- Manage proper handling or recycling materials.
- Operate forklift/tugger/cart for collection of trash and recycling.
- Operate baler/foam densifier.
- Develop and maintain good relationships with customers and employees.
- Provide a safe work environment for all employees.
- Maintain inspections and record keeping.
- Assist and/or supervise team members as needed.
- Complete special assignments effectively and in a timely manner.
- Assist Environmental Project Supervisor in coordinating supplier and customer facility visits and audits.
- Assist Environmental Project Supervisor in driving cost savings programs implemented throughout FEM to meet required budgeted targets.
- Complete all required MPW (FEM) Human Resources and Health & Safety training, in addition to customer specific required training.
- Perform other duties as directed.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
- Some High School Education acceptable.
- Understanding of mechanical concepts and applications.
- Professional oral and written interpersonal communications.
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Ability to move up to 50 Lbs., with or without accommodation.
- Ability to maintain a consistent workload that involves physical manual labor.
- Ability to maintain alertness and fitness for duty.
- Ability to position oneself for work conducted in and around confined spaces.
- Ability to wear respirators in environments that may expose you to chemicals, fumes, etc.
- Ability to maintain workloads that may include travel to a variety of states for days or weeks, and daily timeframes that could exceed the typical 8-hour shift.
