- Handle, sort, and manage waste and recyclable materials in accordance with site and environmental guidelines
- Operate equipment such as forklifts, tuggers, carts, balers, and foam densifiers to support material movement and processing
- Assist in maintaining clean, organized, and efficient work areas across the customer facility
- Support the Environmental Project Supervisor in daily operations and continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain accurate inspection logs, documentation, and required recordkeeping for compliance
- Assist with coordinating site visits, audits, and interactions with suppliers and customer representatives
- Promote and uphold safety standards, ensuring proper use of PPE and adherence to company policies
- Help identify cost-saving opportunities and support implementation of efficiency programs
- Provide guidance or support to team members as directed by leadership
- Complete assigned tasks and special projects in a timely and effective manner
- Participate in all required company and customer-specific training programs
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support site operations
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; some high school education accepted
- Basic understanding of mechanical concepts and equipment operation
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with team members and customers
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly and perform physically demanding labor throughout 8–12 hour shifts
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods
- Ability to work in industrial environments including exposure to noise, dust, chemicals, and varying temperatures while wearing required PPE
- Ability to work in or around confined spaces and wear respiratory protection when required
- Ability to maintain alertness and safely perform duties in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to travel as needed and work extended hours, weekends, or multi-day assignments based on business needs
