What You’ll Bring
- Strong electrical troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify issues and complete repairs efficiently in a fabrication environment.
- Mechanical aptitude and blueprint reading experience to support accurate assembly and wiring of equipment components.

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to complete electrical fabrication projects.
- Install, wire, and troubleshoot 120V, 240V, and 480V electrical systems and components.
- Perform PLC wiring and assist with electrical control panel assembly.
- Support fabrication, installation, testing, and startup of industrial equipment and systems.
- Assist engineering teams with equipment design improvements and operational enhancements.
- Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with electrical specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform corrective actions to minimize downtime and production delays.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in clean and safe operating condition.
- Train and assist additional employees on electrical procedures, fabrication practices, and safe work methods.
- Travel to customer locations and MPW sites as needed to support installations, repairs, and operational projects.
- Follow all company safety procedures, PPE requirements, and environmental regulations during daily operations.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, fabrication teams, engineering staff, and customers regarding project progress and equipment performance.
- High school diploma or GED required; technical school or trade school training preferred.
- Minimum of 1–3 years of electrical experience in industrial, fabrication, manufacturing, or related environments.
- Working knowledge of electrical systems, PLC wiring, hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding work throughout 8–12 hour shifts.
- Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, squat, climb, and work in confined spaces or industrial environments as needed.
- Ability to wear required PPE, including respirators, while working around chemicals, fumes, noise, heat, and other industrial conditions.
- Willingness to travel up to 10–30% to customer and MPW locations and work overtime or varying schedules when operational needs require it.
