Program Manager – Data Centre Migration Experience
Location - Stamford, Connecticut
Job Summary:
A Program Manager to manage a critical project for one of our biggest clients in banking domain. The Individual should be passionate about technology, experienced in developing and managing cutting edge technology applications.
Role Overview:
We are looking for a hands-on program manager with prior data-centre migration experience, someone who can work closely with the infrastructure team to plan and drive the migration in detail. The role would cover migration planning, weekend / weekday cutover scheduling, dependency management, fallback planning, access and firewall considerations, and overall execution governance. This person needs to be physically based near the US office / data-centre team, not remote, because the role requires close day-to-day coordination with the local infrastructure teams. Hence the position needs to be based out of their Connecticut office.

- Strategic Planning & Governance: Define program scope, goals, and success criteria in alignment with organizational objectives. Establish governance structures, including steering committees and compliance checkpoints.
- Cross-Project Coordination: Manage interdependencies between multiple projects (e.g., IT infrastructure, Operations, Compliance) to ensure a cohesive, unified output.
- Budget & Resource Management: Develop and manage the overall program budget, tracking spending and allocating resources efficiently across projects.
- Risk & Issue Management: Identify and mitigate program-level risks, addressing roadblocks that could impact delivery timelines or budget.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary liaison between executive leadership, project sponsors, technical teams, and external vendors.
- Compliance & Reporting: Ensure all projects comply with banking regulations. Provide transparent, regular status reports to senior leadership.
- Transformation & Process Reengineering: Lead technology projects such as core banking upgrades, Trade Finance enhancement, Cash Management improvements, or digital platform launches.
