Power Operations Specialist The Commodities Operations Specialist will support the commodities business with a focus on US power trading related activity. Responsibilities will include trade management, reconciliation and settlement processes across US ISOs along with broader support across listed commodity products and power markets outside of the US. The successful candidate will partner with the broader Millennium team and external stakeholders (ISOs/TSOs, exchanges, FCMs etc) utilizing their knowledge, experience and expertise to ensure daily operations and related platforms are operating in a controlled and timely manner. Principal Responsibilities Perform trade, cash and position management controls across commodity products with a focus on US Power Respond to and manage the resolution of Portfolio Manager queries Liaising with ISOs and providing ISO account management support Reconciling and settling ISO invoices Provide out of hours global support for non-US power markets Build and maintain relationships with various ISOs, FCMs and EBs to ensure highest quality support for the business Qualifications/Skills Required 5 years of related experience at a Commodities trading house Bachelor’s degree, STEM majors preferred In-depth knowledge of Commodity energy products- including practical front-to-back working knowledge of these instruments, trade life-cycle and their mechanics Knowledge of US power markets and trading instrument across US ISOs Knowledge of NGX Canadian gas beneficial Demonstrated experience with related systems (ISO portals, Openlink Endur, Gresham) Detail oriented; demonstrates thoroughness, urgency and strong ownership of work Independent, accountable worker with a strong ability to collaborate across teams Able to prioritize and deliver in a fast moving, high pressure, dynamic environment Programming skills beneficial CLICK THIS LINK TO APPLY AT OUR NEW CAREER SITE Prior applicants - If you have previously applied, your application has been moved to our new career site.
