Senior Relationship Manager Senior Relationship Manager Trading Services is responsible for onboarding portfolio managers (PMs) and their teams to the Millennium platform. We serve as a key point of contact through onboarding discussions, introductions to trading tools/services, and general guidance as managers work to launch their trading strategy. We remain an important point of contact throughout a portfolio manager’s career at Millennium, helping to ensure they have all the resources required to run a successful business. This role will work across businesses with our Equities, Fixed Income, Commodities and Quant Strategies management teams and will be exposed to cross asset classes and a variety of trading strategies. Principal Responsibilities Collect, document, evaluate, and socialize requirements for new Portfolio Managers Build and maintain strong relationships with Portfolio Managers and their team and serve as a trusted point of contact Work closely with Risk, Technology, Operations, Compliance, Legal, HR and other teams on Portfolio Managers’ requirements Understand the Millennium platform in detail and provide guidance and advice to internal and external managers to maximize platform leverage Assist with strategic initiatives such as new strategies, products, markets, and trading systems Planning, co-ordination and organization of onboarding activities Qualifications/Skills Required 15 years’ experience working at a financial services firm preferably at a hedge fund, an allocator or in prime brokerage Market structure knowledge including execution flows, trading strategies and operational processes of a hedge fund or broker Strong interest and knowledge of financial markets, trading strategies, and alternative investments Highly analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills Strong organizational skills, with the ability to clearly articulate status and next steps Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment & think outside the box to problem solve complex issues Strong interpersonal skills, including excellent verbal and written communication Compensation: The estimated base salary range for this position is $160,000 to $250,000, which is specific to New York and may change in the future. Millennium pays a total compensation package that includes a base salary, discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package.
