- Clear communication to supervisors about abnormal findings, parts needs, and repair timelines
- Organized shop/yard with consumables tracked and requisitioned proactively
Role highlights
- Schedule: First Shift, Monday–Friday, 6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m.
- Compensation: $27–$32 per hour
- Environment: Fast-paced, team-first manufacturing setting
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for facility and equipment maintenance needs
- Perform preventive maintenance at scheduled intervals and per OEM guidance
- Diagnose issues on CNC fabrication assets and facility infrastructure
- Relocate equipment and adjust service drops, lighting, and energy sources
- Coordinate outside contractors and align special projects with Operations priorities
- Maintain grounds: snowplowing, salting, walkway clearing; summer mowing and landscaping
- Keep the shop yard neat; track laser and punch consumables and submit requisitions
- Perform infrastructure maintenance and close out work orders with accurate notes
Required background
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3–5 years in an industrial maintenance position
- Valid driver’s license; able to meet insurance requirements for plow truck operation
- Proficient with hand and power tools; mechanically adept
- Able to read/interpret service manuals
Preferred experience
- Low-voltage control and power supply circuit diagnostics
- Preventive/reactive maintenance on Press Brakes, Laser/Turrets, and/or paint line
Physical and mental demands
- Regular use of hand and power tools
- Read and follow directions; troubleshoot and work independently
- Close vision; lift up to 50 lbs
