MPA Services is urgently hiring a Direct Support Professional (DSP)-Supervisor to join our compassionate team in Wapakoneta, OH. Position Details:
- Full-time, 35–40 hours/week
- Shift schedule:
- Weekdays: 4:00 PM-8:15 PM
- Rotating weekends: 1:00 PM-8:15 PM
- Low client ratio: Just 1 client, no behavioral challenges
Responsibilities:
- Support daily living
- Encourage independence: Assist with life skills, community activities, and goal achievement.
- Team leadership: Guide and support staff to ensure smooth home operations.
- Ensure safety & health: Monitor well-being, follow ISPs, and maintain a safe environment.
- Documentation: Accurately record services, progress, and incidents.
- Build relationships: Develop positive connections with clients, families, and team members.
- Advocate with respect: Always promote dignity and client rights.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED (required)
- Valid driver’s license, car insurance, and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass background checks
- Compassion, patience, and strong communication skills
- 3 years of experience in developmental disabilities or caregiving
