What are the responsibilities and job description for the IBCLC Lactation Consultant position at MP?
A growing integrative lactation and postpartum practice in Miami is looking for a passionate IBCLC to join our team.
This is not your average lactation role. We go far beyond the latch — combining evidence-based lactation support with whole-person postpartum care. Our clients get a partner, not just a consultant.
What you'll do:
✦ See clients in office, via telehealth, and in home
✦ Conduct full feeding assessments and develop personalized care plans
✦ Collaborate with an experienced lead IBCLC on complex cases
✦ Be supported by a dedicated admin team — you focus on clinical care
What we're looking for:
✦ Current IBCLC certification in good standing. If you have an RN, OT, SLP that is bonus points.
✦ Warm, empathetic, genuinely invested in the families you serve
✦ Based in or near Miami-Dade
✦ Bonus: tongue tie experience, postpartum wellness background
What we offer:
✦ Insurance credentialing support under our group NPI
✦ Flexible scheduling
✦ Collaborative clinical environment
✦ Opportunity to grow with an expanding Miami practice
This is a 1099 independent contractor position. Compensation discussed at interview.
