This is a full-time direct hire position with our client that is a boutique CPA firm located south of Boston. They are seeking a highly motivated Tax Accountant to join their team. WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Prepare Compiled financial statements (OCBOA – Tax; OCBOA – Cash) including financial statement disclosures and reporting in an efficient and timely manner.
- Preparation of Individual, C Corp, S Corp, Partnership, Fiduciary, Gift and Estate tax returns.
- Provide timely and high-quality services and work products that exceed client expectations
- Conduct in-depth and complex tax research for clients in a multitude of industries.
- Build on technical competence by keeping up to date on trends, developments and technical authorities and apply them accordingly.
WHAT YOU NEED:
- 5 years' public accounting experience in a firm specializing in high income clients, complex tax situations, with an emphasis on business clients.
- Experience in preparation of review and/or compiled financial statements.
- Knowledgeable in Massachusetts taxation, and other New England states.
- Experience in Fiduciary, Gift and Estate planning and taxation.
- Business planning experience.
- Ability to perform on-line tax and accountingreporting research in a variety of services and to write technical memorandums.
- Experience working with CCH products, a plus.
- GAAP work experience, a plus.
- CPA or working toward CPA, preferred.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
- No overnight travel
- 35-hour work week (or less if desired), flexible hours, the ability to work some of the time remotely from home.

- Compensation: $125k-$150k (depending on experience)
