Duties
- Manage all aspects of the leasing process, including marketing available units, conducting property tours, and negotiating lease agreements to meet occupancy goals.
- Utilize property management software such as Yardi and OneSite for data entry, lease processing, rent collection, and maintaining accurate tenant records.
- Coordinate property inspections, oversee property maintenance requests, and collaborate with facilities management teams to ensure properties are well-maintained and compliant with safety standards.
- Handle legal administrative tasks related to lease contracts, tenant correspondence, and eviction procedures while adhering to landlord-tenant law.
- Develop strong customer relationships through excellent phone etiquette, conflict management skills, and upselling additional services or amenities to prospective tenants.
- Conduct regular market research and sales activities to attract new tenants while upselling available units and lease renewal options to existing residents.
Skills
- Proficiency in property management software such as Yardi, OneSite, and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
- Strong legal administrative experience with contracts, lease documentation, and landlord-tenant law.
- Exceptional customer service skills combined with effective conflict management and negotiation abilities.
- Proven experience in property leasing, sales techniques, and upselling strategies within a real estate or property management setting.
- Excellent organizational skills including data entry, filing, and maintaining accurate records of tenant interactions and property maintenance logs.
- Office experience with phone etiquette, customer relationship management (CRM), and administrative support functions related to facilities management.
