Mopec is currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Specialist to join our team in Madison Heights, MI. This is an onsite position and physical presence on the job is required.
What you’ll do
The Financial Planning and Analyis Specialist will work as part of the Finance team and will compile, consolidate and report financial results, forecasts, and annual budgets. You’ll perform ad hoc reporting and complete financial analysis. Other duties include collaborating with other departments and gathering data to align financial goals, planning, reconciliation, expense reporting, and monthly bank reconciliation
Essential/Key Functions
- Compile, consolidate, and report financial results, forecasts, and annual budgets
- Financial analysis
- Ad hoc reporting
- Administration of Workday Adaptive Planning
- Reconcile and book monthly SAP Concur expenses and reporting
- Administration and reconciliation of Avalara sales tax reporting
- Monthly bank reconciliation
What you need:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- Minimum seven years’ experience in accounting and financial analysis
- Strong Excel skills
- Experience with SAP Concur, Sage Fixed Asset, Avalara Sales Tax System, Infor Visual ERP, and/or QuickBooks a plus
- Must have strong ethical conduct
- Must have financial management capacity and capability
