Job Overview

The Assistant will work closely with chefs and other kitchen staff to deliver high-quality dishes while providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of various food items, including pastries and other baked goods.
• Support the culinary team in daily kitchen operations, including food production and plating.
• Utilize proper knife skills for food preparation tasks while adhering to safety standards.
• Help with cake decorating and presentation to meet customer specifications.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy shifts.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a culinary or kitchen environment is preferred but not required.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment.
• Familiarity with pastry techniques and cake decorating is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• A passion for food production and commitment to quality service.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
