Talent Acquisition Specialist

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for sourcing, screening and recommending candidates . This role will identify opportunities to build applicant pools, establish trust and partnerships with the managers, identify potential “fit” through effective interviewing and testing, effectively administer the interviewing, and ensure a positive new hire experience.  

Core Responsibilities:

• Manage full-cycle recruiting for assigned roles, from intake through offer acceptance

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies using job boards, referrals, social platforms, and direct outreach

• Screen and interview candidates to assess qualifications, skills, and cultural alignment

• Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs

• Conduct intake meetings to understand role requirements, success profiles, and timelines

• Provide consultative guidance on market conditions, compensation, and hiring strategies

• Coordinate interviews and facilitate feedback to drive timely hiring decisions

• Deliver a professional, consistent, and engaging candidate experience throughout the hiring process

• Communicate clearly and timely with candidates regarding next steps and expectations

• Extend offers and support pre-employment processes

• Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws, including EEO, FCRA, and fair hiring practices

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS)

• Support background checks, onboarding coordination, and documentation

• Track recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill, source effectiveness, and hiring volume

• Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Marketing, Communications, or other relevant degrees or 2 yrs equivalent experience.

• Proven work experience as a Talent Acquisition Coordinator or High Volume Recruiter

• Strong attention to detail

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities

• Ability to maintain efficiency, work independently

• Excellent communication skills

• Ability to prioritize and complete projects within deadline

• Solid knowledge of HR policies and best practices

• Hands on experience with various selection processes like virtual interviews 

• Ability to conduct different types of interviews (e.g. structured, competency based and behavioral)

• Familiarity with HR databases, applicant tracking systems and candidate management systems

• Experience with ADP Applicant Tracking System preferred

• Familiarity with social media, especially LinkedIn
