Job Overview
Mower Council for the Handicapped seeks a paid, part-time Gambling Assistant with around 10-1213 hours per week of work on a somewhat flexible basis. Additional hours for paid training will be required for the first month.
The Gambling Assistant reports to the Gambling Manager and ensures that Mower Council for the Handicapped (MCH) conducts charitable gambling operations to support our community advocacy while complying with all state gambling laws and regulations.
An ideal candidate is detail-oriented, socially adaptable, basic math skills, is comfortable in a bar environment, works independently, and is responsible. Previous experience with charitable gambling is a plus, but not required. Hours are flexible within the business hours of (MCH), M-F usually 9:30 am-3:30 pm for 2 days per week. Able to fill in/cover vacations/sick leave for GM/ASGMs.

Must live within Austin City limits, be 21 or older, be able to bend, stoop, kneel, twist, stand, and walk for extended periods, and lift up to 10 pounds, occasionally.
