Role summary: Senior Workplace Project Manager
You’ll lead workplace change and relocation projects for MovePlan’s growing client base across financial services, media & tech, pharma & healthcare, education, and public services in the Metro Philadelphia region. Taking a consulting-led approach, you’ll partner with clients from startups to global multinationals to shape the right strategy and deliver projects that are grounded in industry best practices.
You’ll lead and support projects that are geographically diverse but are predominantly located within the Metro Philadelphia region.
You’ll work in a hybrid capacity balancing on-site requirements, with work from home opportunities along with the occasional need to travel outside of this region.
You’ll manage and mentor a team of MovePlan individuals who are committed to delivering high quality, value-added services and outputs to our clients.
You’ll support business growth by creating meaningful relationships with existing clients and identifying opportunities for new accounts.
What you’ll be doing
- Representing MovePlan with confidence and professionalism on client sites
- Managing a team of MovePlan employees in your assigned region(s)
- Preparing and leading the strategy, management, and delivery of workplace transition projects
- Creating and delivering stakeholder and employee communications that ensure all are informed, prepared and motivated to support goals
- Leading and documenting client and internal project meetings
- Managing project scope, schedules and budgets
- Assessing and documenting project risks, actions, issues and decisions
- Preparing analysis and reporting as required
- Supporting on-site project activities including occasional weekend work
- Completing internal MovePlan administrative tasks to support your team and region
- Supporting business development through networking, events, and bid activity
What you’ll need
- 5 years’ experience in managing projects and direct reports
- A creative, solutions-focused mindset
- Leadership experience and a passion for developing others
- Strong client and stakeholder communication skills
- Great organization skills, attention to detail, and written communication
- Confidence working across new teams and fast-paced environments
- Solid Microsoft Office skills with a focus on Excel and PowerPoint
- Willingness to travel and work occasional weekends
Nice to have
- Experience leading culture change
- Change or Project Management certification
- Corporate real estate or facilities management experience
- Active membership within industry networking organizations
