Duties
- Safely load and unload items using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as hand trucks,4 wheel dolly, refrigerator dolly and piano dolly
- Maintain a positive attitude and demonstrate effective communication skills with moving partners and customers
- Load and secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit, utilizing safe lifting practices and weight handling techniques
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers using mobile devices to coordinate deliveries or resolve issues promptly
- Load & unload goods efficiently, demonstrating heavy lifting capabilities while prioritizing safety at all times
Qualifications
- Previous moving experience or familiarity with careful moving techniques and household item handling.
- Valid driver’s license with experience in box truck driving or courier services; experience with commercial trucks or personal vehicle delivery is a plus
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting and moving items safely
- Knowledge of material handling equipment operation such as pallet jacks or similar tools
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly via mobile devices or in person
- Experience operating manual transmission vehicles is advantageous but not required
