Duties
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges
- Handle cash, credit/debit card transactions, and other payment methods with precision and integrity
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and assisting with product selections
- Conduct product demos when applicable to highlight features and benefits to customers
- Upsell related products or accessories to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, ensuring merchandise is well-stocked and visually appealing through merchandising and stocking tasks
- Assist customers with store navigation, locating items, and providing information about store policies or promotions
- Follow phone etiquette standards when answering inquiries or providing support via phone or online channels
- Support inventory management by participating in stock counts, receiving shipments, and organizing merchandise on shelves
- Promote a positive shopping environment by demonstrating excellent communication skills and teamwork
- Need to do daily cleanup and trash removal
- Rest Area clean up if needed
- Stocking in cooler if needed
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic math skills for cash handling and transaction calculations
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills in both English and bilingual abilities as a plus
- Ability to stand for extended periods, walk throughout the store, and lift moderate loads during stocking activities
- Knowledge of grocery store operations or retail environments is advantageous
- Demonstrated ability to upsell products effectively while maintaining a friendly Environmental
- Training will be provided to selected candidate
