Senior Financial Analyst (FP&A)

📍 Royal Oak, MI (Mon–Thurs onsite | Fri remote)

We’re working with a growing, privately held organization to identify a Senior Financial Analyst who will serve as a key partner to leadership and help drive financial visibility across the business.

This role offers a mix of systems ownership, strategic FP&A work, and process improvement, making it ideal for someone who enjoys both technical and business-facing responsibilities.

What You’ll Do

• Lead administration and optimization of the company’s financial planning platform (Oracle EPM or similar)
• Partner cross-functionally with leadership to support annual budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking
• Build and maintain financial models to evaluate business initiatives and revenue opportunities
• Analyze monthly results, explain variances vs. plan, and update forecasts accordingly
• Support month-end close collaboration to ensure accuracy and consistency of financial data
• Prepare materials and insights for executive and board-level reporting
• Develop recurring and ad hoc reporting, including profitability and expense analysis
• Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to increase efficiency and scalability

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
• 4–7 years of experience in FP&A or corporate finance
• Strong experience with financial planning systems (Oracle EPM / PBCS preferred)
• Advanced Excel and strong data analysis / modeling skills
• Solid understanding of financial reporting and GAAP principles
• Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment
• Strong communication skills with experience supporting senior leadership
