Are you passionate about workplace safety and love being on the floor where the work actually happens? We're looking for a safety-minded professional to join a well-established manufacturing operation in Southeast Michigan.
Whether you've worked your way up through the trades, hold a degree in occupational health and safety, or are somewhere in between — we want to hear from you.
What You'll Be Doing
- Maintaining a strong, visible presence on the production floor every day
- Building genuine relationships with employees at all levels to drive a stronger safety culture
- Conducting accident and near-miss investigations — identifying root causes and seeing corrective actions through to resolution
- Delivering and developing safety training for employees across the facility
- Ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations and applicable safety standards
- Maintaining training records and certifications (forklift, crane, mobile equipment, and more)
- Supporting environmental and compliance reporting
- Participating in or leading safety committee meetings

- Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or production environment
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations and general safety practices
- A hands-on approach — this role is about presence, not paperwork
- Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with people at every level
