What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director Environment Health Safety position at Movement Search & Delivery?
Movement Search & Delivery is working with company that is a global supplier of consumer packaged goods to identify and evaluate an EHS Director. This is a direct hire position and located in the greater Rockford area.
What You Will Do:
- Developing and maintaining a variety of safety and environmental programs, policies and procedures that will ensure all associates are in compliance with local, state, and federal rules and regulations, including OSHA and EPA standards.
- Developing and implementing a program to reduce occupational injuries and illnesses, including area assessments, injury investigations and clear, measurable goals.
- Correcting working conditions, using knowledge of industrial processes, mechanics, chemistry, psychology, and safety standards, develops loss control programs, and devises methods to evaluate safety progresses.
- Assessing share, and leverage HSE best practices across sites.
- Establishing, implementing, and maintaining all Environmental and Safety Management systems in accordance with ISO 14001/ISO 18001, reporting to top management on performance, and recommend improvements.
- Serving as the interface between local, state, and federal regulatory agencies, corporate and any insurance carrier representatives in order to ensure plant compliance.

What You Need to Succeed:
* Bachelors degree
* 5 years experience as an EHS Director/Manager in a manufacturing environment
* Experience with compliance reporting
* Experience with waste water permitting is a plus
* Strong safety mindset

Salary : $150,000 - $170,000
