What are the responsibilities and job description for the Continuous Improvement Manager position at Movement Search & Delivery?
Movement Search and Delivery is conducting a confidential search for a Continuous Improvement Manager with a client company of ours that is a global supplier to the automotive, aerospace, and defense markets. This is a direct-hire position and it is based around Traverse City, MI.
What You Will Do:
- Manage CI projects as assigned
- Perform gap analysis to identify deficiencies in business processes and programs, and recommend adjustments to programs and/or processes.
- Link process deficiencies directly to bottom line impact.
- Assist with cross-functional project teams formed to implement change and drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure adherence to standard processes for data collection, documentation and reporting.
- Build project plans to CI projects, including resources, timeline, critical paths, etc.
- Manage diverse CI strategies for transactional and/or manufacturing operations.
- Participate in operational continuous improvement reviews.

What You Need to Succeed:
* Bachelors degree preferred
* 3 years experience as a Continuous Improvement Manager and/or Continuous Improvement Coordinator
* Experience in a plant manufacturing environment
* Lean Manufacturing Mindset
