This full-time, on-site Neurological Exercise Specialist role is located in Deerfield, IL. The selected candidate will design and implement exercise programs tailored to individuals with neurological and complex medical conditions. Daily responsibilities include facilitating one-on-one and group exercise sessions, monitoring clients’ progress, ensuring safety during exercises, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals. Additionally, the role will require fostering a positive and motivational environment that encourages clients to achieve their personal goals.
- Proficiency in Group Exercise and Strength Training
- Knowledge and experience in Cardiac Rehabilitation and Exercise Physiology
- Ability to create customized Exercise Prescriptions based on individual client needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster client engagement and motivation
- Relevant certifications in exercise physiology, personal training, or related fields (e.g., ACSM, NASM, or NSCA) are preferred
- Experience working with individuals with neurological or medical conditions is considered an asset
- CPR and First Aid certification required
