About the Company


The Operations & Compliance Manager is responsible for the heartbeat of the company: the daily execution of moving services and the long-term health of our physical assets. You are the bridge between the "Sales Promise" and the "Field Reality." Your mission is to scale our operations efficiently while maintaining a fortress-like approach to safety and DOT compliance. You will ensure that field crews are properly trained, scheduled, and performing to company standards. You will lead the warehouse and fleet teams, turning operational chaos into a streamlined, high-margin machine.


About the Role


Key Responsibilities:


Operational Efficiency & Oversight

  • Workflow Optimization: Audit daily dispatch and crew performance to ensure moves are completed within estimated windows and asset scheduling is optimized.
  • Resource Allocation: Manage the "puzzle" of fleet scheduling, ensuring the right trucks and equipment are assigned to the right jobs to maximize daily revenue.
  • Invoicing & QA: Oversee the transition from "Job Complete" to "Invoice Paid," ensuring accuracy in billing and high marks on post-move audits.


Quality Assurance (QA) & Claims:

  • Service Oversight: Monitor move quality to minimize damages and manage the claims process when issues arise.
  • Client Satisfaction: Maintaining high-levels of customer satisfaction and company reputation for excellence through quality online reviews.


Fleet, Warehouse & 3PL Management:

  • Asset Readiness: Oversee the Fleet Coordinator and Warehouse staff to ensure trucks are clean, stocked, and mechanically sound every morning.
  • Inventory Control: Manage moving supplies and 3PL storage, ensuring zero leakage in materials and 100% accuracy in customer storage inventory.


Safety, DOT & Insurance Defense:

  • Regulatory Shield: Ensure 100% compliance with DOT, FMCSA, and OSHA regulations. You are the primary defender of our insurance standing.
  • Claims Mitigation: Manage the claims process not just as an administrator, but as a "Root Cause Analyst"—identifying why damages happen and implementing immediate field corrections.


Leadership & Developmental Coaching (LMA):

  • Culture of Accountability: Lead and manage the field ops and warehouse teams through regular "Check-ins" and performance audits.
  • The "Standard Bearer": Foster a results-driven culture where teamwork and continuous learning are the norms, not the exceptions.


Qualifications & Education Details

  • Education Level: High School Diploma or equivalent required. A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is a plus but not required—proven hands-on leadership and operational experience in the moving or logistics industry are highly valued.
  • Experience: 3–5 years of progressive experience in moving operations, logistics, or field service management, with at least 2 years in a direct supervisory or leadership role.

Pay Range and Compensation Package

  • Base Salary Range: $65,000 – $85,000 / year (depending on experience) an aggressive performance-based bonus structure tied to operational efficiency, safety compliance, and team metrics, bringing total expected on-target earnings (OTE) up to $85,000 - $110,000 .
