About the Role
We are looking for a motivated, trustworthy, and reliable Fleet & Warehouse Assistant to keep our engine running smoothly behind the scenes. If you are a self-starter who loves keeping things neat, clean, and organized, this stable part-time role is perfect for a student or anyone looking for a rock-solid weekend schedule!
Responsibilities
Warehouse Maintenance & Upkeep
- Keep it Clean: Maintain an organized, sparkling-clean warehouse (including the materials cage, workshop, and main floors) so it's ready for the week. Sweep and mop the lounge, kitchen, and restrooms.
- Parking Lot Care: Keep the exterior property tight by picking up loose trash along the fence lines and truck parking zones.
- Gear Restoration: Track the "Shame Rack" by documenting items left behind. Manage the Lost & Found, organize laundry missions to the local laundromat for blankets/floor runners, and process disposal "Dump Missions" via company trucks.
- Receive Shipments: Occassionally receive shipments of inbound materials and supplies.
Inventory & Supply Management
- Kit Assembly: Build and restock various moving supply kits and TV boxes. Keep loose tape rolls organized and cut fresh 20-foot neoprene floor runners.
- Office & Lounge Fuel: Keep the office fridge and conference rooms fully stocked with water, soda, and sparkling water. Track office supplies and vending stock.
- Uniform Control: Audit, fold, and count incoming uniform apparel stock to keep our ordering numbers accurate.
Fleet Support & Care
- Truck Inspections: Audit moving trucks to clear unreturned specialty materials and count onboard inventory.
- Fleet Aesthetics: Wash truck and van exteriors using an electric pressure washer and detail/vacuum vehicle cabs so they look sharp on the road. Perform some basic aesthetic maintenance (e.g. painting hub caps).
- Maintenance Shuttling: Drive fleet vehicles to the mechanic for scheduled maintenance, repairs, or troubleshooting.
Leadership & Dispatch Support
- Sundays Uniform Checks: Ensure all departing movers are in uniform and upholding company appearance and conduct standards.
- Team Delegation: Take the lead on your tasks and delegate extra duties to the warehouse or bench teams when you need a hand.
- Missions: Assist dispatch with running local supply errands and making deliveries/pickups for moving equipment and supplies.
Storage Operations Assistance & Oversight
- Assist with relocating storage vaults by forklift throughout the facility.
- Provide oversight of inbound storage shipments to ensure adherence with vault loading protocols.
Qualifications
- Positive Mental Attitude (PMA): You bring a great mindset, high energy, and a growth-oriented focus to work every single day.
- Reliability: You are trustworthy, highly accountable, and can work efficiently with minimal direct supervision.
- Driving Record: Must possess a valid standard Driver’s License with a clean driving record (comfortable driving/shuttling box trucks and cargo vans). Prior truck driving experience preferred but not required.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry items up to 75 lbs regularly, as well as stand, bend, and move around a warehouse environment for long stretches.
- Weather-Resilient: Comfortable working in an open-air warehouse and washing trucks outdoors (weather permitting).
Preferred Skills
- Experience in warehouses
- Familiarity with inventory systems
- Comfort with the Google Workspace environment
- Forklift experience preferred but not required
