The Role
As a Junk Removal Specialist, you will work with a team to remove unwanted items from
homes, businesses, storage units, and construction sites.
You will drive a company truck (NO CDL required) and help customers clear out furniture,
appliances, debris, and other materials.
This role is very physical and fast-paced, but it is also rewarding because you get to help
people solve problems and improve their spaces.
Every day is different, and every job site presents a new challenge.
What You Will Do
- Drive company trucks safely to job sites
- Remove furniture, appliances, and household items
- Load items safely into the truck
- Sort items for donation, recycling, or disposal
- Identify recyclable materials such as scrap metal
- Provide excellent customer service on every job
- Work efficiently with your crew to complete jobs
- Represent the Move My Mess brand with professionalism

Qualifications
- Must be 21 years or older (insurance requirement)
- Valid Ohio driver's license with clean driving record
- Driver’s license active for 3 or more years
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 75 to 100 pounds repeatedly
- Comfortable working outdoors in different weather conditions
- Ability to work in dirty or cluttered environments
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
Helpful but Not Required
- Moving experience
- Junk removal experience
- General labor experience
- Trailer driving experience
- Customer service or sales experience
We are willing to train the right person with the right attitude.
Work Environment
This job can involve working around unpleasant environments such as:
- Strong odors
- Mold or mildew
- Animal waste
- Dead animals
- Hoarded or cluttered spaces
Candidates must be comfortable working in these conditions.
