The Human Resources Assistant provides essential support to the Employee Relations Manager and plays a key role in daily HR operations. This role serves as a primary point of contact for hourly and salaried employees, staffing agencies, and candidates—offering guidance, information, and exceptional customer service. The position supports a wide range of administrative and HR functions to ensure smooth, efficient operations across the complex.
Schedule:
- Split shift: 10:00 AM–6:30 PM.
- Some Saturday work based on plant operations.

Major Duties & Responsibilities:
- Deliver outstanding customer service and accurate information to internal and external customers.
- Perform data entry and maintain employee records in Oracle HCM, UKG, and Oracle 12c.
- Support daily HR administration, including documentation, recordkeeping, and employee inquiries.
- Assist the Employee Relations Manager with routine tasks, follow‑ups, and special projects. Serve as a reliable, approachable resource for employees, staffing partners, and candidates throughout the day.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred.
- Clerical or administrative experience required.
- Bilingual skills preferred but not required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent customer service abilities and a professional, welcoming demeanor.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
- Familiarity with databases and common HR systems.
- Highly detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to thrive in a high‑volume, fast‑paced environment.
- Flexibility to work some Saturdays and occasional overtime.
